There and Back Again

Yesterday I took a trip to Jackson for business. Luckily the Park is still open, and tourist season is over, so it was a quick trip as compared to what it could be.

It had been years since I was last in Yellowstone, so I did stop along the way at the geyser fields at West Thumb.
While I was at the Jackson Airport, I got a very rare opportunity to visit the control tower. Unfortunately, they wouldn't let me take any pictures inside due to security concerns, but, I did get to go out on the catwalk and take some pictures from there.

40 feet up!

The opposite side of the air field.

The Grand Tetons as seen from the Control Tower.
