The Bitch is Dead

If you haven't gotten out and seen the new Bond movie, Casino Royale, you should. Contrary to what we all thought, Daniel Craig makes a damned good James Bond. I put him up there with Sean Connery. Not that Pierce Brosnan wasn't good, but this guy is better.

I titled this post for my favorite line from the movie. I can relate to it, well, sort of relate to it. I can relate to it in the aspect that when Bond said it, he was moving on. I've moved on too. The Bitch is Dead.

Casino Royale what a crock! Ok folks here we go. There were already two Casino Royale movies. One from the late fifties that disappeared 1 hour from release and the most famous from 1967.The 1967 movie was a spoof amd a fantastic movie. David Niven Peter Sellers Woody Allen Charles Boyer Orsen Welles Shirley Jones Barbara Bouchet (YUM)anyway with a soundtrack by Burt Bacharach Hal David and played by Herb Albert and the Tiajauna Brass. Before anybody can say Casino Royale is a good movie one should see what is a good movie and dismiss the bastardised use of the title. For the record Sean Connery and Roger Moore and others were true gentlemen as well. None of which would refer to anyone as a bitch. Now of the soap box.

I agree with Mark - Bonds of old were true gentlemen. The "bitch is dead" seemed a little to emotional, border line angry little boyish for Bond. The movie was action packed, but lacked the usual gratuitous boob shots and sexy names. “Broad Breast” is not a sexy name.
