Everyone can relax now.

Yesterday the bill that would have banned smoking in public places here in Wyoming died in committee. So everyone can relax now, no ones right to breath smoky air is going to be taken away. What pisses me off however (besides the fact that this bill didn't make it any further than this) is that it was an informal straw poll that was taken, and not an official recorded vote. So of course, we don't get to see who was for and against it. Better luck next year.

I cannot believe what I see. You of all people. The background the training all wasted.Your parents must not know because if they did they would be ashamed.I thought I knew you better, evidently not.You an engineer should know better. Because even I know you can't build anything with a straw pole. What tensile strength would that have? You couldn't even get a stripper to slide down a straw pole.Where have we all failed you?

I know this, and you know this, and most everyone who will read this knows that you can't build anything with just a straw pole! It would have very little strength intension, and absolutely none in compression. Now, if you take a whole bunch of straw bales, stack them up and encase then in structural concrete, then you'd have something!

Composite straw epoxy poll would handle both tensile compressive loads - now for the torsional loads you might have to add some BS to the mix.
