Yield Dammit!

Some of you out there have decided that you need to slow down a bit since gas prices have sailed past 4 bucks a gallon. I can appreciate that some people have vehicles that get crappy mileage and this is a great way to go further for every bit of this liquid gold.

However, if you are going to do drive this way, I have come up with some handy tips, since some of us drive cars that don't get crappy gas mileage at the speed limit plus five.

1. Don't drive down the edge of the centerline. It's annoying and dangerous for those of us who want to pass you.

2. On a four lane highway, the left lane is for passing. Stay out of it.

3. Pay attention to those behind you. If you are on a busy section of highway, and there is a half a mile of cars behind you, PULL OVER AND LET THEM PASS!

Finally, if you need to save gas that bad, ride your bike, this goes double for you granola eatin' Subaru Outback drivers.
